The Lenzing Group is an international producer of viscose fibers, based in Upper Austria. It has manufacturing sites in all of its key markets and a worldwide network of sales and marketing offices. Lenzing supplies the global textile and nonwovens industry with high-quality industrial cellulose fibers, and is the leading supplier in a range of business-to-business markets – including the dissolving wood-pulp, standard and specialized cellulose fibers and engineering services markets. B&C holds 52.25%* in Lenzing AG.

Each Lenzing fiber is made of cellulose, a natural component of the renewable source material wood. A characteristic of cellulose is its biodegradability: At the end of their life cycle, the Lenzing fibers can re-enter the eco-system. The target of the Lenzing Group’s climate strategy is net-zero CO2 emissions by 2050. An important milestone on the road to climate neutrality is the year 2030, when emissions per ton of pulp and fibers produced are to be reduced by 50 percent compared to 2017.
