As of December 16, 2022, the contract for the sale of the Medical Sector “Sempermed” to the Southeast Asian glove producer HARPS GLOBAL PTE. LTD. was signed. The execution of the transaction is still subject to the approval of the appropriate authority. This is expected in the second quarter of 2023. This initially excludes the production of surgical gloves in Wimpassing, Austria, and their packaging in Sopron, Hungary, which will continue as contract manufacturing for the acquirer for several years. The sales price (cash and debt free) is EUR 115 million and is subject to customary price adjustment mechanisms upon execution of the transactions.
